Welcome to Saan Salon, the premier online marketplace for salon appointments. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern your use of the website and services.
1. General Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) apply to all users of the Saan Salon platform, including customers, salon vendors, and other visitors.
1.2 By accessing or using Saan Salon, you agree to comply with and be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Booking and Appointments
2.1 All bookings made through Saan Salon are subject to availability and the salon’s schedule.
2.2 Saan Salon provides a platform for customers to book services with local salons, but the actual appointment details, including services, pricing, and schedules, are determined by the individual vendor.
3. Deposits
3.1 When booking an appointment through Saan Salon, a deposit may be required by the vendor.
3.2 All deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit is made, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.
4. Late Arrivals
4.1 If a customer arrives late for their scheduled appointment, the vendor has the discretion to:
- Decide whether to proceed with the appointment, depending on the vendor’s schedule and availability.
- Refuse to carry out the appointment if the late arrival would interfere with upcoming appointments.
4.2 We recommend customers arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to avoid any inconvenience.
5. Cancellations
5.1 Customers may cancel their appointment at any time, but as per policy, all deposits are non-refundable.
5.2 Cancellations made after the 24-hour window may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the deposit, depending on the vendor’s cancellation policy.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
6.1 Vendors are responsible for providing accurate and timely information about their services, availability, and policies.
6.2 Vendors must ensure that the services provided meet the quality and standards promised during the booking process.
6.3 Vendors have the right to refuse service or cancel bookings if the customer violates any of the platform’s rules or behaves inappropriately.
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1 Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information when making a booking.
7.2 Customers must communicate any changes or cancellations within the required time frame (24 hours) to avoid cancellation penalties.
7.3 Customers must respect the vendor’s policies, including those regarding appointments, deposits, and cancellations.
8. Platform Use
8.1 Saan Salon is not responsible for the actions of users, whether customers or vendors. We are only a platform for connecting customers and vendors.
8.2 By using Saan Salon, you agree that we are not liable for any disputes, damages, or issues arising from appointments or transactions made through the platform.
9. Privacy
9.1 Saan Salon respects your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1 Saan Salon reserves the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page, and you are encouraged to review them periodically.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Saan Salon operates.
Refund Policy for Missed Reservations
Refund Eligibility for Missed Reservations
Customers who miss their reservation due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, severe weather, or other unavoidable situations) may request a refund. Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the missed reservation date.
Refund Request Process
To request a refund, customers must:
- Contact the salon owner within 3 days of the missed reservation.
- Provide proof or documentation of the extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical certificate, flight cancellation notice, etc.).
Refund Approval
All refund requests are subject to review and approval by the salon owner. Approval will be based on the validity of the provided documentation and the nature of the extenuating circumstances. Owners may require proof to be sent via messenger, email, etc.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted for:
- No-shows without prior notice or valid reason.
- Missed reservations due to personal negligence (e.g., forgetting the reservation, scheduling conflicts, etc.).
- Circumstances that do not qualify as extenuating (as determined by the owner).
- Customer-cancelled reservations, as per policy all deposits are non-refundable.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and issued via the original payment method. Please allow additional time for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Vendor Free Trial and Commission Policy
Free Trial Period
- New vendors will be given a free trial period of three (3) months to use the Saan Salon platform without any commission charges.
- At the end of the trial period, an interview will be conducted with the vendor to review platform performance, customer engagement, and overall experience.
- Vendors will have the choice to continue listing their salon on the Saan Salon platform after the free trial.
Commission Policy
- After the free trial period, vendors who wish to continue using Saan Salon will be charged a 5% commission per booking.
- This commission helps cover platform maintenance costs and ensures the continued operation and improvement of Saan Salon.
- The commission will be automatically deducted from each successful booking transaction.
By continuing to use the Saan Salon platform after the free trial, vendors agree to the 5% commission fee per booking.
